Thank you. It appears to be to a Brigid. Can't find a Mavis connection yet, even if I use Michael Joseph Collins. Difficult if Maurice/Michael had been born after 1911 to find the family - would really like to identify Mavis Collins.

I have found a Mavis and Maurice Collins in Willesden however, in 1953, 1956, 1962 and 1963, in the electoral rolls. But I'm not sure they are the same people. In 1962 & 3 there were two other family members at the same address, so they must have been born before 1941. A pity the electoral rolls don't state occupation, as that might help.

They had 5 children by 1911
John 1901 not with family in 1911
Gerard 1902
Mary Winifred 1904
Maurice Joseph 1905/6 no cert showing
Margaret 1908

a cert showing 1913 for Maurice Joseph 1913 for same parents says see new certified copy
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1913/01446/1591810.pdf
so perhaps he was registered late and maybe it was rectified at a later date

There is a second copy of this cert on page 2, looks like he was born 1906.

We can't be sure of anything we have found but if you want to chance getting a copy of that marriage cert you can use the form on this site.

https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/civil-records/help/i-want-to-get-a-copy-of-a-certificate-what-do-i-do

Only €4 but has to be paid in Euro and ordered by post or fax, although they will email the cert.

Hello,
You are spot on with lots of this.  Maurice Joseph Collins was born in 1906, father same name, mother Margaret Griffin.  Married Mavis Collins, lived in NW London from 1949-50.
Curious about your interest - are you related to him?

Thanks Sinann. I forgot about that. Hopefully he is the same Maurice Collins I am researching.
