Perryn/Perrin
« on: Thursday 13 October 16 11:00 BST (UK) »
My ancestor William King was born 1808 in Henley on Thames and the son of Henry King and Mary Perryn/Perrin

I have all the info regarding William from birth to death, but his parents allude me, I think there may be a connection to a photographer A. E Perrin  who had a studio in Friday Street Henley around the 1900's.

I cannot get any further back the than names of William's parents, can anybody help,

Thank you

Can you just confirm that you're looking for the parents/siblings of Henry King & Mary Perrin or are you looking for descendants of Mary Perrin to try an establish a connection to the photographer.

A Tree has that although the Marriage says Perry it is actually Perryn on Childrens Baptisms.

Children all born Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire.
They have Henry dying 1836 and a 1851 Census for Mary King born c 1776 Pyrton, Oxfordshire.

Just posting so someone may be able to help.

Trish :)

Thank you all so much for the info.
I am trying to find out the parents of Henry also I did wonder about the connection with Arthur Edward Perrin to the family, the photo I have (front only) is of, I think, Emily Goodyear whose mother is Emily nee King.

Henry and Mary Perryn are as far as I have reached then it's a brick wall. I do have some siblings of William confirmed and some not confirmed.
The Luton connection is interesting as I have been unable to find Mary Perryn's birth, maybe she came from there.

oNCE AGAIN THANK YOU.

I haven't seen the register for Henry and Mary, not sure where Sonning is, have to google it.
Sorry Rosie in answer to your question, I think that marriage is right.
