Curnow Inquiry
« on: Wednesday 19 October 16 06:58 BST (UK) »
Looking for any information on descendants of Thomas Rapson Curnow. Also wondering who he married.
He was born on the 7th February 1891 at St Ives and died in September 1957 in Penzance.
Wondering if any of his descendants can be found, or if  the records are too close to the present day.
Very grateful for any help given.

Births Mar 1891 Curnow    Thomas Rapson        Penzance    5c   247

Baptism16 Mar 1891 St. Ives, Cornwall, England William Curnow [innkeeper in 1891;not in 1901 so probably deceased]/Amelia

had 2 sibs in 1891 Emily and William, another sib Anne in 1901, Janie and May were also sibs. but 3 of the 7 children had died before 1911      So determination could be made of those surviving sibs as for ascending trees.

there is a trend for Penzance that a Catherine A follows in almost every generation....

use of https://www.freebmd.org.uk

will reap more results for u  but i cant post much else as the daughters marriage comes within a possible living........ yet i can see one child to that marriage.

ps will go with Millicent for a moment > Deaths Sep 1968   CURNOW    MILLICENT    60    PENZANCE    7A   102

suggests underage bride ....  permission by parents or late birth reg?

so there are a few Minnies but most likely >

Deaths Mar 1972   CURNOW    Minnie    17Jy1890    Penzance    7a   310

which would count out 2nd marriage unless divorced

Thank you so much, to both of you, for the wonderful snippets of information you have found. I have so much here to go on and I am so hopeful of it leading to finding my family, who may still be in that area.
I am very grateful for your help.
