Hello another brick wall ??? can anyone help please :)
 Samuel ward born 1846 Bradford on the 1881 census. Ashton under lyne census married to Alma Derbyshire.
cant find birth only know from marraige cert father Robert ward.
married at st Johns church Hurst Ashton under Lyne. i only want to find him on census before 1881 if anyone can help. thank you ;D

I looked at that one, but there is a possible marriage of a Maria Bentley to a GEORGE Ward 1845 Bradford. The father is named as ROBERT on the marriage cert?

Trouble finding a marriage to fit - there's a Maria Bentley marriage Dec 1845 Bradford with one of the possible grooms a George Ward  :-\

The 1845 marriage is on Anc. Both George and Maria are listed as 20 and George is a clothier

Barking up the wrong Samuel do you think?

Possibly the one with father Robert Ward was born before mother married Robert Ward so he is under a different surname at birth :-\
