Watersfield (Wattisfield) Independent church registers

Hello,

Does anyone know if registers for this non-conformist parish are available before 1735? This is the date at which they start on Ancestry (digitised images). There is information at the beginning of the book about the earlier register dating from 1654 being retained by the clergyman due to it also being the all important church book. But what has happened to the earlier baptisms, marriages and burials now? I am keen to see as my ancestor's baptism would have been about 1730 and I may have found a sibling in 1739. I really want to be able to verify it!

It may be worth emailing the West Suffolk Records Office in Bury St Edmunds to see if the register has survived.    bury.ro@suffolk.gov.uk
