I have the above in my tree born 1923 Bromley. She married a Frank Joseph Kemp Dec 1938 Croydon. All I know is that she was in Kent County Mental Hospital in Maidstone 29 Sep 1939.....I am trying to find if they had children or just generally their whereabouts.
Any info would be greatly received.

Could you just confirm the dates - born 1823 but married 1938 - even if married 1838 she would be very young.

FreeBMD has a birth registration for an Irene D Coppard in 1919; the one registered in 1923 is just Irene Coppard.

I don't think that the Irene Coppard in Maidstone is the same one who married Frank Kemp  ;)

Free index 1939 has an Irene D Kemp bn c1908 living Croydon which is where the Kemp/Coppard marriage took place

Therefore she should be Irene Kemp on the 1939.

There is a birth of a Kemp/Kenney in 1940, Croydon.
