where can i search for catholic records in east london

where can i search for catholic baptisms and marriages that happened in east london,
The name im looking out for is Fitzsimmonds and the numerous variations,
I have a particular line thats proving difficult at the start, I know they were catholic and from bethnal green, also with one of them it was said that when her mother died at around 1915 she was sent to a convent and she ran away back to bethnal green about 1920.
Is there anyway of checking this out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thankyou

Hi lisagrace123

East London Catholic Parishes come under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Westminster.

http://rcdow.org.uk/

Historically Catholic parishes retain their own parish registers.

Maybe use the website to identify possible churches and either contact them direct or the Diocesan offices.
