1841 reads

Sarah Mack b 1806 foreign parts
M Mack 25 b Middlesex sailor

Not entirely sure that surname is Mack and the initial of the male does not look like M

May be better if you told us who you are looking for and what you know about them

It was Sarah I was more interested in as she is possibly my g-g-ggrandmother.

Edward Mack born 1823 in Whitechapel London was born to parents James Mack and Sarah ??
James Mack was dead by 1849 (when Edward Married) I have been searching for years for anything on James and Sarah. I have found a possible death for James in 1840 age 52 in Westminster London but have no idea if this is correct until I get the cert next week. Therefore I started looking for Sarah on the 1841 and found this entry. I was unable to find any siblings to Edward from parish records but if this couple was moving around London (which wouldn't surprise me as my Mack's sure did flit around) maybe this unknown Mack living with Sarah could be a sibling. I just wanted to get some more info on this entry to either confirm or reject it , if you know what I mean I was hoping the actual entry might be a clarification to the names but you seem unsure so maybe this is a red herring. If you just came across this entry how would you read it???
Thank you so much for doing the lookup for me. I really do appreciate it.

Angela

Perhaps they are the same James and Sarah Mack who had son William baptised in Southwark on 8 May 1814 (born 17 April 1814)?  James was a waiter on this baptism (versus a porter on Edward's).

If so, could he be the person with Sarah in 1841?

Sorry - possibly a red herring given Sarah's recorded age in 1841

Angela, in 1851, there is a 61 year old Sarah Mack, born in Ireland showing in Holborn St Andrew, living by herself. She is down as a (first word I can't make out) Hawker.

There are at least three possible death for a Sarah Mack after 1851:

1852 Whitechapel
1853 Stepney - this Sarah likely born c. 1767
1864 Westminster

It has a squiggle in the box, but not widow (which shows clearly for other entries further down the page  :-\).
