Suggestion to identify new topics

I get another box to the right of the one that takes you to the latest post

You must have magical powers  I can't see one.
Can you do a screenshot to show us where it is please?

It makes no difference.

I don't see them on either my desktop computer or my tablet.

A bit convoluted but:

go to "profile" on dark bar near the top of the page
from the pull down menu select "summary"
you will see "profile info" and "modify profile" on left above your name and details
from "modify profile" pull down menu
second from bottom is "ignore topics option"

I found the "ignore topics option" but it only gave me the option to un-ignore, I couldn't seem to select "ignore" - & I don't get the little blank box on the right either.

Cracked it ...In my profile it says Show quick-moderation as checkboxes 
It comes under Look & Layout

I remember a topic related to the checkboxes a while ago (maybe 2 years or more). Trystan came on and said how to get them and since then I've had the checkbox entered under quick moderation.
