edward tuck born 1848 Eling, southampton
« on: Sunday 30 October 16 15:25 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
I am looking for the death of Edward Tuck, born about 1849 in Eling, Southampton. He married Eliza and lived in Thornton Heath in Croydon, Surrey.
In the 1911 census both Edward and Eliza are in the Croydon area, and by the time Eliza died in 1919, she was described as the widow of Edward, so Edward must have died between between 1911 and 1919, but for the life of me, I have never been able to find him as being dead, even though I have used various name variations!
Any help would be gratefully received.
Many thanks,
Carol

Eliza died in the Brentford registration district, I believe she was living with one of her children at the time of her death!?
Thanks,

Free BMD has the death of an Edward J Tulk, aged 72, registered in Chertsey in Dec Q 1913.

That's the closest I can find, but not entirely convincing.
