Tracing ancestor's baptism birth records beyond 1750
« on: Tuesday 01 November 16 12:44 GMT (UK) »
My 5th Gt.Grandfather Richard Brunger was born around 1755 according to a death record I have found. I identified a marriage record of Richard to Mary Ralph in 1778 at Canterbury,Kent. The whole family is based in Kent mainly around Hernhill or Boughton-under-Blean. I cannot find any birth or baptism record on either Ancestry or FindMyPast for Richard so would like some guidance please. Richard's children's baptism records have been found in the Canterbury records but Richard seems to have been missed.

Hhmmm

Well I have found a baptism for a Richard BROUNKER at St Mary Church, Great Chart.  Parents John and Elizabeth.

Baptised on the 13 October 1754.

Possibility perhaps?

Hmmm.. I must brush up on my wild card search skills. While this is not totally watertight it's the best so far. Thanks..
