Family history help
« on: Thursday 03 November 16 11:24 GMT (UK) »
Hi guys after years on FindMyPast and dozens of bought certificates there's still a few question in my family history that I would be very grateful for help from any experts.
My grandads sisters Emma born 1899 and elsie wilson born 1903 Wolverhampton daughter of robert and Annie in 1911 census, there's a marriage for Emma in 1921 which isn't her and two for elsie in 1920s, one of which may be her but can't find in Wolverhampton archive, id very much appreciate any help finding them after 1911.
Where was Sidney John kingdon buried after dying in swansea 1929, he was a baby and his mom was a catholic from cwmbwrla.
After purchasing my grandads war records I can't accurately find info on his brothers records to buy them, Samuel Hayward stokes born 1909 Yorkshire, John James stokes born Yorkshire 1905 and sidney Arthur stokes born swansea sept 1919. My grandad served in welsh guards but though I know they served it might have been a different unit, all lived in swansea at time..1930s-1940s.
Doras Eveline kingdon was born Winnipeg Canada 22 Nov 1913 to Bruce kingdon and rela viola kingdon, rela remarried to William drenner after Bruce died in 1916 but I can't find any info on doras or maybe Dora although William drenner died in America.

It would have been better if you had done separate requests for these three families  ;)

Emma - You have discounted the 1921 marriage of Emma to Harold Higgs.  Do you have the certificate for this. Have you found Harold and Emma in 1939.  The latter entry could fit your Emma  :-\

Do you have dates of birth for these sisters

Hi Rose, sorry abut lumping my requests together, yes I bought that Emma's marriage cert but it listed her father as another of my Wilson family, not Robert. Emma is listed as born march 1899 on fmbd and elsie is listed as born june 1902 although on 1911 census she's listed as 1903. Best.

Sadly, I think this is the son of Doris -  Keith Boyd - mentioned in the obituary above.

Winnipeg Free Press on Jun 11, 2016

KEITH BOYD It is with overwhelming sadness that we share the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and friend. On Wednesday, June 8, 2016, true to his nature and on his own terms, Keith passed away at home, secure in the fact that his family have the qualities of strength and resiliency to carry on etc etc...............
