James Simmonds - Brynteg
« on: Sunday 06 November 16 17:14 GMT (UK) »
Hi, my grandad James Simmonds lived at Clifton House, New Road, Brynteg, where my father Arthur was born 1914.
James I believe was in the Royal Welch Fusilier and fought in the Boer War.
Does anyone recognise the name or have any photos or information regarding the family house in Brynteg? Also any information on James being in the Welch Fusilier?
Thanking you in anticipation.
KR
John

Thanks Jennifer, That sort of confirms my theory of him in the Boer War.
That's given me something to go on. Thanks again.
