Looking for a marriage for Harriett Nash somewhere in this vicinity. She had  sister Sarah who married William Weller Sandall in 1838. Her parents were James (carpenter) and Charlotte Nash

My humble apologies  ???

I'm working on the theory that she was baptised at St John the Baptist, Westbourne on the 12th Feb 1815. Abode: Nutbourne. Detailed on FreeReg

The assumed parents can be found in the 1841, 1851 and father in 1861 census records

No worries  :) I had the wrong father! Just focused on Charlotte's name.
I can't see a marriage for her as yet. Could she have died?

There are a couple of Harriet Nashes on 1841 census. Have you discarded these two as possibilities?

I am looking for a Harriett Nash who lived.

That Harriett Nash burial doesn't come up on FreeReg yet other burials for Westbourne do so I hadn't spotted that one. If Harriett Nash of this family died then I need to look elsewhere.

I have posted previously on a similar vein - just trying a different angle

William George CHATFIELD was the son of William George Chatfield and Harriett Nash and was born in Sussex around 1838. Harriett's parents were James and Charlotte. I cannot find anything on anybody other than WG jr turned up in NZ in the 1860s and died in 1894

They are all doing my head in  :o

Harriett Nash who died in 1842 was buried at Funtington St Mary on 21 Feb but was an infant therefore not the Harriett you're looking for - Funtington was at that time in the Westbourne registration district.

Can you tell me where please?   I simply can't find them.

Harriet Nash, Westbourne/Nutbourne, sister of Sarah (who married Sandall) did not marry a Chatfield at all.

In 1851 Harriet is living with her married sister Sarah Sandall.   Whilst she is shown as a 'visitor' she is clearly Sarah's sister - shown as Harriet Worth, marr., born Nutbourne, with a daughter Isabella who was born 1845.

Familysearch shows Isabella bp.9/2/1845 Westbourne, dau. of Thomas William Worth and Harriet.

Thomas William Worth married Harriet Nash, dau. of James Nash, carpenter on 18/11/1840 St. Marylebone, London.   One of the witnesses was Sarah Sandall.

This would seem to conclusively prove that this particular Harriet Nash was never married to a Chatfield and married for the first time to a Thomas William Worth in 1840!

Can't find Harriet under Worth in 1841 census so don't know where she was.
