Harriett was baptised at Westbourne on 12 Feb, d/o James & Charlotte of Nutbourne, carpenter.

They then had their daughter Sarah baptised there on 05 Oct 1817, parents details the same.

All from SFHG transcription of Westbourne.

This confirms the above connections.

Harriett is shown working for the Wyatt family in the 1861 to 1881 censuses as a servant housekeeper, they were farmers farming considerable sized farms employing several men and boys.

No sign of her post 1881 in censuses or marriage/death records.

She is recorded as married in 1851 to 1871 but a widow in 1881.  Occupation in 1851 an Annuitant which could mean Thomas William was dead but no sign of his death.  Seems to indicate that he was alive until between 1871 and 1881 but they were separated.

Hello

Thank you so much for all of this. I can now put this family to rest and look elsewhere.

Much appreciated  :)
