« on: Saturday 12 November 16 20:15 GMT (UK) »
Ballymoney Free Press, 14 Nov,1878: CURRIE- M'ILROY- At Loughmourne Presbyterian Church on the 31st inst.,ult., by the Rev. James M'Ilroy, brother of the bride, James T.R. Currie commercial traveller Belfast, to Jane daughter of Mr. Clarke M'Ilroy, Aghadowey, Ballymoney.

Birth: Wilmena Minnie C. CURRIE, Oct./Dec.1879 Reading, Berkshire, England

1880 census- Cedar, Jackson, Kansas
James T. Curry, 25, Ireland, grocery man
wife Jane Curry, 27, Ireland, keeping house
daughter Minnie Curry, born Oct.[1879], England
stepfather Alexander Boyd, 75, Ireland, retired weaver
wife Nancy Boyd, 65, Ireland, keeping house

Denison Cemetery, Denison, Jackson, Kansas- Alexander Boyd 1802-1888, wife Nancy Curry c1809-1889

1891 census- Reading, Berkshire, England (household of Clarke McIlroy)
brother-in-law James Currie, 33, Ireland, student of divinity
sister Jane Currie, 40, Ireland, housekeeper
niece Emily Currie, 10, U.S., scholar
niece Wilhelmina Currie, 11, Reading, scholar
Census information contained in this post is Crown copyright:  www.NationalArchives.gov.uk

1901 census- 62 Blackford Ave., Edinburgh, Scotland
James R. Currie, 43, Ireland, retired? minister
   wife Jane Currie, 35?, Ireland
daughter Wilhelmina Currie, 20, England, scholar
daughter Emily S.R. Currie, 19, U.S. (British subject), scholar

Note: Jane McIlroy born c1842 Ireland (1891 census closest to her age but then her brother would have known when she was born), parents Clarke McIlroy & Mary Perry.

After this I can find no trace of the family in records. Wilhelmina Currie was supposed to have died 1940 (buried in a family plot, Aghadowey). She is not the Wilhelmina Currie died 1940 Selkirk, Scotland and I can't find a matching death in Northern Ireland.

Am suggestions? have been searching on Scotland's People but too many possibilities.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Thanks, Rosie. Wilhelmina Currie supposed to have died 1940 (relative who was very good with dates and details said this years ago) but just in case I looked up the 1963 death- unfortunately parents' names don't fit (nephew was informant).
