I am trying to trace my father's ancestors, who were Colliers from Cheshire and Shropshire. I have just visited the Falcon Inn, where my great great grandfather was the landlord in the 1800s and also farmed 20 acres. His son, John Collier is my great grandfather who took on the Elephant and Castle pub in Wybunbury with his wife Elizabeth Bentley. There is also a connection with Brook House, Basford Farm, Weston, where John and Elizabeth's children, Frank, Emily and John stayed with their uncle and aunt, George and Emily Lindop. If anyone has a link to this family, please let me know. I previously saw a posting from 'Dave' who was trying to track down the same Collier line.
