Interpreting 1939 Register Information
« on: Thursday 17 November 16 17:06 GMT (UK) »
My Great Uncle, Robert Reginald Bushell, born Wisbech 1889, won the Military Medal in WW1, and I had been unable to trace his whereabouts after the war. I have now found him in the 1939 Register, but do not understand the information:
He is single. His occupation is Am Warden. The address is No 34 UTTAIN MARRIED INTRO MARHAM. I have failed to work out what this means, and would welcome any advice on interpreting it.
Many thanks

I think the occupation is probably Air Warden?

The address is No 34 UTTAIN MARRIED INTRO MARHAM.

I would hazard a guess that you are looking at a very bad transcription!
You need to look and see what the original says.

Since the word 'married' occurs I'd suggest it might be something to do with RAF married quarters

Presumably you are viewing the entry in question on FindMyPast? You need to click on 'View original image' in the blue panel on the right of the entry.
Then you will see the original and should be able to sort out what it actually says.
If you are in doubt you could post a snip of the offending words.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
