Help reading Scottish death cert

Hi all

Can someone please help me decipher the death cert of my 4x Grt uncle.
I need the place and how he died as well as his occupation if possible.

I know he was a clerk in the newspaper office sorry.
Just the cause of death and where.

His family lived in Castle Douglas.
So his elbow must of got infected and caused his death by the sounds of it.

His father was a nailer, possibly making boot nails.

The Lothian Health Services Archives have patient registers for the Infirmary in Edinburgh which might tell you a bit more - or not!  You can find out more about them, and how to contact them, on their website at http://www.lhsa.lib.ed.ac.uk/
