Women in Norfolk during WW2
« on: Saturday 26 November 16 13:47 GMT (UK) »
Hello again

Does anyone know if there is a record kept anywhere of Women's Land Army members during the Second World War. I am trying to find out what two of my late female relatives did during the war years. These sisters were born into a family of shepherds/game keepers/farmers so I suspect they did something on the land but I can't be sure. I am certain there was a Land Army in the Thetford area during the war and if so I would like to know more about the movement and it's membership around the area.

Many thanks yet again

Some information from the National Archives:

Records have not survived. (That's a shame)
