Hello. Just started looking for relatives of Robert Hales/Norfolk Giant. I am a direct descendant of his brother, William Hales. If anyone has any information about this family line, please respond. Acromegaly is always a possibility with these very tall people, especially historically when it wasn't even a known entity much less diagnosed and treated. But if the info about his family is correct, it sounds more likely that they were genetically/constitutionally tall rather than having any illness causing abnormal tallness.
