He was 71. In 1881 as far as I'm aware.

Can you give more information please, it is very difficult to make sure that we are following the right family with just a name. If he was born in 1810, wasn't he rather old to have had sons fighting in WW1? Can you give us their names as a start?

Wondering if Isaac Rossiter had a son, Isaac Rossiter, who had sons who died in WW1.  That might fit more comfortably with the timeline if Isaac (1) was born about 1810.
