Castles in Croydon

I am trying to find the christening of Katherine Castle who I believe was born c1640. She married John Baldwin [of Worth, Sussex] in Croydon (St John the Baptist) on 26 June 1660. Is anyone able to check the parish registers for St John the Baptist (or other churches in Croydon) between 1630 and 1650 to see if she was born there?

I found two records online for Katherine's marriage to John Baldwin- one of them has her place of birth as Abingdon Oxford.

Thanks for that info. Where did you find these? Are these two on Findmypast?

Are the original images viewable online at all?

I wonder how John and Katherine met? And also why did they marry in Croyden rather than in Worth or Abingdon?
