My grt. grt. grandfather Michael May was born in Arklaw Wicklow about 1815 according to his age when joining the British army. He and his wife Mary Brew had four children in Dublin after his service in Burma and India. They were Edward, Francis Albert, Catherine who must have died as another Catherine was born to this couple in Belfast in 1868. Francis Albert married Sarah Eliza McCurdy and they emmigrated to Australia in 1910. It is Michael's parentage I am curious about.
