Trying to find my GFathers Grave
« on: Wednesday 14 December 16 12:38 GMT (UK) »
Hi everyone,

Im wondering if anyone knows how to find the location of a grave, ive looked on pretty much every website going and i cant seem to locate him.

I know he is in Harehills Graveyard, he died between 1998-1992, his name is Ted Simpson

if anyone can help me and steer me in the right direction that would be brilliant

Welcome to RootsChat! ;D

For those, like me, who are mystified, Harehills Cemetery is in Leeds, Yorkshire.

Maybe try searching on this site?

Welcome to Rootschat.

Presumably that is Harehills Cemetery in Leeds? Are you certain that he was buried and not cremated, if the latter, there may not be any physical record i.e. headstone.

As it is so recent a death, the best thing would be to contact the cemetery and ask if they have a record of his burial or cremation.

Remember he was probably Edward rather than Ted. There are several deaths in Leeds in 1998.
