If you wish to post all the details that appear on his birth certificate, we might be able to help.

You said that the ages say "full". There are no ages on a birth certificate - what certificate says that the ages are "full"? It must be a marriage certificate. Whose marriage is it? Can you also give all the details on this certificate?

I have PM'd Mamsoth as I think I have found Samuel and Dennis  in 1939. Samuel is mistranscribed  as Samuel D if anyone else wants to have a look.

Who is Samuel? As Dennis was born less than 100 hears ago, he won't appear on the 1939 register unless someone has provided proof that he is deceased. If this is the case there may be another family member researching this family who can provide some assistance to Mamsoth.  :)

I'm confused now as well, who is Samuel? If Mamsoth wants more help perhaps they can give us more information on here. Although we can't give information from the 1939 register it is possible to use the free part and manipulate that.

Sorry I've caused confusion. I looked back at some of Mamsoth's previous posts and there is a copy of the birth certificate for the birth he is interested in and I worked on the details from that. Perhaps it would help if Mamsoth posted the relevant details on this thread.

Thanks everybody. I have found my answer to my original post elsewhere but in case anybody is interested to look, here are all the details I have for my grandfather...

Dennis Noel Davies born 24/12/28 to Samuel William Davies and Dorothy Phillips in Grange Mount Maternity hospital Birkenhead. Samuels occupation is listed as a "motor wagon Driver"

There is a marriage in the June quarter 1930 in West Bromwich of a Samuel Davies and Dorothy Phillips:

Marriages Jun 1930
Davies  Samuel  Phillips  W. Bromwich  6b 1979
Phillips  Dorothy  Davies  W.Bromwich  6b 1979

It is possible they married after the birth of Dennis. Have you purchased this marriage certificate? Is this where you saw their ages as "full"?

Yes I have that marriage certificate but I can't prove if its him or not, there is nothing conclusive one way or another. I don't believe its him tho.

Regarding the full ages comment I made, please disregard it, I actually don't have any certificates that mention their ages as being "full", must have got muddled up.

I could post a picture of the certificate, are we allowed to do that?

only small snippets are allowed for deciphering purposes.

You'll have to transcribe details from the cert.
