Hello all

Firstly a very big thank you to whoever it was who informed us that NLI records are now available on Microfilm (I can't remember exactly who it was) but because of that information I have now been able to trace back to my three times great grandparents Patrick McDonagh and Aracta Conry and my two times great grandparents Jacobus (James) McDonagh and Maria Conlon from Ballinafad.

I am interested to know if anyone has any information on the two families of Conry and Conlon or variant spellings and would very much appreciate any information.

Thank you very much in anticipation.

Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to all Roots Chat Personnel and users.

Kind regards.
Derrygolagh

Hello Derrygolagh:

I am curious about Maria Conlon.  I have a Catherine Conlon who married Patrick Cryan sometime between 1830-1844.  They resided in Broher/Brougher, a few miles west of Ballinafad.  I have a good bit of info on the Cryan family from that area but nothing on Catherine Conlon's family.
