Hi Bonzers

Rootschat is a fourum for finding out about our ancestors, not reconnecting with missing family and friends.

We have a 'no living people' policy here so you may have to wait until someone uses an internet search engine and finds your topic here. You now have enough posts so that people can contact you on the personal message system if they think there is a link.

Also we can make suggestions as to where to look for information.

I have checked our surname interests table but there are no entries so far

http://surname.rootschat.com/sit-surnames.php?letter1=P&letter2=5#top_data

maybe add an entry?

Also take a moment to read our guidelines for posting

http://www.rootschat.com/help/posting_guide.php

There are a couple of links with search tips for finding family members.

The Penna Icecream name is a blast from the past for me too.

Have you tried the Facebook pages of Old Hull and "Hull the Good Old Days"?

Hi Carol.my mother was born in Hull 1905,North Street, I have been researching my family roots in Hull for years, had interesting stories from America, regards the Penna's. Maria Penna lived in Hull early 1900's married to Rocco Santoro, Rocco Santoro died in New Jersey, his daughter married in America, very well educated lady, traveled the world. Rocco had a number of business's in Hull and left Hull for America around 1907. Regards William.
