Gosh AM77..what a find. Thank you so much. I know Col. Fagan was badly injured in some battle and now we know just where.

Sure.  Col. Fagan was an interesting person - with an equally/more interesting brother, father and maternal grandfather.  Do you know if he had children?

I am researching a house history in Killiney and your Bernard J Fagan came up as resident here from 1936 to 1951. I was wondering if you had any information on his time living here, perhaps photographs or stories that would be of interest to the current owners?
I am happy to share what I have found to date.

I have just logged in to this thread after a break and was so sad to see the message from Zoe Northeast that Max D passed away in August. My condolences to you. He helped me so many times on this site.
