The above appears to be the son of George and Louisa nee Eastwood who were married 27 Apr 1839 Saint Nicholas, Brighton. It seems odd though that the son was born in Portsmouth, however the family appear on the 1841 census at Buckland, Portsea Island. His brother, James b 1838 died 1842 in Portsmouth, father b 1815 Brighton died q1 1846 Portsea Island, mother bc  1818 Brighton and died Q4 1856 Brighton.
After 1841 George disappears?
Cr

At the moment I can only find one child born with the surname Poor/Poore mother's maiden name Eastwood.

This is Louisa Poore, born 3 q 1840, Brighton 7, 242

This would appear to be Louisa Cuss' death record, however her age is wrong as on all available census her birth year is c.1812

I'm really grateful to you all for sorting this muddle out and JJen for the info on Louisa's baptisms and burial.
I'm interested in the Louisa Eastwood who married George Poor in 1839 Brighton. I did look at the one who married Francis Cuss but wrong place of birth for her at 1851 onwards.

I'm interested in the Louisa Eastwood who married George Poor in 1839 Brighton.

Which leaves us with, in Brighton in 1851, in the household of her father John Eastwood

Louisa Poore, daughter, widow, 32, b. Brighton

(HO 107 / 1645 / 6 / 4)

This is possibly her death
