Joseph Jardine b1891 Hawick.

I have a marriage for the above to Edith B Swan 1915 Morningside and Edith B Mcdade 1915 Morningside. Why would this be?
Joseph died from being gassed from WW1 on 17/08/1919 Dumfriesshire!!
Can anybody help please.

It's possible that she had been married before, one name is he rmaiden name and one her married name.

Do you know how old she was?

I would agree with Emeltom that she was likely married before and one is her maiden name.

I don't have any other info only her name Edith Blanche.
I just don't understand why both names Swan and Mcdade came up on the 1915?

Because she was probably known by both names - one her single name one her married name.

The marriage would say if she was a spinster or a widow. 

You could look for a birth under both those names then a marriage to the other name to see if that is indeed the case.

I know they had a Daisy Jardine and Martin McRae Jardine 1917-1919.

Her death entry in 1951 gives her age as 61. There is an Edith B Swan in the 1911 census index on SP age 22 living in Bridge of Weir which is probably her. No other Swans or McDades living in same household unfortunately.
