So...
It looks as if Agnes then went to New Zealand where she used her full and married name.

1905/6
WALKER, Martha Jane Agnes
Maranui, Melrose. Widow.

1911
WALKER, Martha Jane Agnes
Lyell Bay Rd. Maranu. Widow

1914
WALKER, Martha Jane Agnes
View Rd. Melrose. Widow

And died there.
1922/6480 WALKER  Martha Jane Agnes. Aged  63Y

Interesting, Sue.

There are also these NZ electoral roll entries which are the same as the ones you found but using her maiden name.  ???

1905/1906
Martha Jane Agnes MANTELL, Maranui, Melrose, widow

1911
Martha Jane Agnes MANTELL, Lyall Bay Rd Maranui, widow

1914
Martha Jane Agnes MANTELL, View Rd Maranui, widow

(Firmly with tongue in cheek I wonder if she voted twice each time  :o)

Mmm...
Yes I suspect she was using the description "widow" more than loosely ::)

Can you see anything that might be her on the Bulimba passenger list?

I've tried.

Oh Dear! ::)

I have been a little unfair to poor Agnes.

She did come to Qld under her married name .
I think this is her with husband John and daughter Laura in 1884

http://www.archivessearch.qld.gov.au/Image/DigitalImageDisplay.aspx?ImageId=38617#page=16&view=Fit&ispdf=true

Here is the birth in England of Laura

Births Mar 1883
WALKER    Laura Sarah M
At Newport P.
 3a   715

And her death in QLD

1888 B21079 Laura Sarah Mantell WALKER
Parents  John WALKER  &  Martha Jane Agnes MANTELL
 :(

So John MANTELL had Agnes and husband and child already in the colony when he arrived.

Excellent finds, Sue.  Poor Agnes lost her father, daughter and possibly her husband in Brisbane.

 :D
Or!
Did John WALKER move on to another relationship..
This death matches the burial with little Laura

1910   B12926   Elizabeth Olive   WALKER
Parents John WALKER & Ellen GREEN

and this one could well be the mother of the above child.

1918   B27672 Ellen WALKER
Parents Thomas GREENWOOD & Elizabeth HAWKINS

[Greenwood could be GREEN by mistake of some sort]

Funeral Notice shows that Ellen WALKER d August 1918,  shown by Sue to be buried at Toowong, was definitely stated to be the wife of John WALKER.
