No worries CoL. I'll try to get there some time this week.

Just double checking the name is Mary Ellen WILSON? Year of death 1915?

I just noticed this is a microfilm. They have new fangled machines at the archives so if I struggle with copying onto a USB drive, is there anything in particular you would like me to extract from the intestacy? As you know, there can be a lot of information repeated on wills (and intestacies) and some of those 8 pages might not contain much. Hopefully you will get a death certificate though.  :)

 :)

Thanks Ruskie,
Yes, the name is Mary Ellen WILSON and the year of death 1915.
WILSON is Mary Ellen's 2nd marriage following the death of her REYNOLDS husband in 1908
If you are having difficulty with the new fangled machines, please note the beneficiaries and how much each received.
Of interest are her children from her 1st marriage:
James Henry REYNOLDS
Walter Thomas REYNOLDS
William Patrick REYNOLDS
Margaret Agnes PORTUS (nee REYNOLDS). She is the main line of interest. She was a beneficiary of the mothers will and also next of kin on her brothers Army papers.
As James Henry and Walter Thomas were serving abroad, their share was possibly held in trust?
James Henry and Walter Thomas were killed in WWI and their sister Margaret Agnes PORTUS as next of kin received both brothers share of their mother Mary Ellen WILSONS will.

Thanks again for your help :)

Thanks for the clarification CoL. I try hard to master the tech.

(PS. I was going to ask about the Reynolds surname.  ;) )

You're welcome CoL. Sorry for taking so long to do this for you.

It was fun learning how to use the new machines.  ;D I managed to (almost) break one in the process, but luckily it was not fatal.  ;D

All good fun.  ;D
