Hi I'm a newbie and need help please
My grandfather was born in Tasmania but I can't find his birth record. I can find the birth of twins named Frederick James and Thomas Charles in 1890 so it seems these two have morphed into one person! I have his marriage certificate and death certificate but the ages shown on the certificates don't add up
I'm baffled and would appreciate any suggestions

John Miller and Jane Carrick are the parents
And he married Florence Ivy Smith in New South Wales in 1915

I think you are right about the "transposed" names
Here are the children of John Miller and Jane Carrick

I assume you got the parents names from his marriage certificate?
If so, ordering the birth print out for Frederick James Miller, would confirm his parents.

Thank you so much. That confirms what I have. I also have a Thomas James born 1886 and he married a Mary Jane Wells. John and Jane are listed on the marriage certificate. It's so confusing but I really appreciate your help

Asking again, where did you get the names of Frederick's parents?
I can't see anything for Thomas James Miller and Mary Jane Wells, where did you get that information?
Cheers
