1911 census
« on: Saturday 14 January 17 16:48 GMT (UK) »
Hi.
I am trying to find Kinton Hall, Middleton Chirbury shropshire on the 1911 census. I don't think any of my ancestors were there then so I haven't got a name to search for which is foxing me rather with ancestry.
I did have ancesters there from 1865 - 1901 and thought the 1911 census would give me an indication of the size of the property - number of rooms etc.
Please can someone help?
Thanks

Have you tried searching 1911 using the name of the Head of the house in 1901  :-\

If you have access to Ancestry you will find there the 1911 Census 'Summary Books' which you can look through fairly quickly.

I haven't looked at the actual pages (and as Carole has said we aren't allowed to do look-ups) but you will find Chirbury in the Welsh/Montgomeryshire Summary Books.

Ah thanks guys. I will try the summary books. I know by 1904 the 1901 head had moved on. Thanks
