I'm sorry - I was just trying to help a friend trace her grandparents.

She has Irish roots, but neither of us had a clue where in Ireland this should have been posted - I have an excuse, being Scottish  ::)  ::)  ::), but we're both sorry if we caused any offence.
Researching the names Mckenzie / Mackenzie from Ross and Cromarty especially Scoraig and Rherivach.

The names Fraser, MacGillivary and Grant from Daviot & Dunlichity.

The name of Fraser from Lanarkshire.

The name of Bell from Northumberland.

The name Chilla / Chylla / Chyla from Poland.

No problem- just wondered if their was a County Down connection- easily fixed.

Just click on 'report to moderator' and ask for your topic to be moved to Westmeath board or Ireland board  :)

We're not allowed to to lookups for 1911 English & Wales census but we ARE allowed to search Irish census for you as it's online free.
