update,

Well I left a message with the funeral directors who passed it to the lawyer.

He called me  and we had a chat and he said he would pass on my details to the relatives after the funeral, which is mid feb.

So now I have to wait to see if they get in touch.

I hate waiting!   :(

I do hope that this has a good outcome. Many family photographs I dimly remember had been lost by the time I was adult, let alone when the previous generation died. Sadder still, OH's mum deliberately destroyed all pics it seems, a year or so before she died.
Threlfall (Southport), Isherwood (lancs & Canada), Newbould + Topliss(Derby), Keating & Cummins (Ireland + lancs), Fisher, Strong& Casson (all Cumberland) & Downie & Bowie, Linlithgow area Scotland . Also interested in Leigh& Burrows,(Lancashire) Griffiths (Shropshire & lancs), Leaver (Lancs/Yorks) & Anderson(Cumberland and very elusive)
