32 is the schedule number not the house number, and Ephriam Lawton and Philip and his wife are in the same house, Philip and his wife are occupying 2 rooms. The household is indicated by the two \\

Yes that is a strange one as Charles shows as the father and husband of Jemima  on the census forms and then this   marriage
Jemima Smee 1840 Rochford spouse James Rayner  ???

Don't see a James and Jemima Rayner on census forms

Hi,

Remembering that ages were rounded down in 1841 this could be James and Jemima,

1841 HO107/337/1  f.4  p.2  Ashingdon Essex

James RAINER    25    Ag Lab
Jemima    "           15
Wll           "             3mths

All born in county.

Birth
William RAYNER    Jun Q 1841    Rochford    12  185
mmn:  SMEE

William is living with his SMEE Grandparents in 1851.

I can't see them anywhere in 1851 so I wonder if they are living in one of the 1851 missing pieces from Essex?

Regards,
Daisy
