Llangyfelach baptisms would be useful to me as well. My 3xg grandfather was supposedly born in the parish around 1800. Solid brick wall at the moment.

Rejoices in the name of James Thomas. He lived out most of his life over the mountain in Betws parish. I have his marriage but the format used in the register did not record father's name.

I am sure you know how diffcult Welsh history can be, so how about a dob, and is it about 1800, Langyfelach

Between 1798 and 1805 the only James Thomas located near area are Bapt Swansea.

Re James Thomas. He appears in three censuses, the ages all vary, and so does his place of birth - Cydweli (Kidwelly) is another alternative. He was certainly a nonconformist later in the 1800s so that is another issue.
