Marriages for Saskatchewan are not searchable yet just births and deaths.

As you already know the date of the marriage and the names of both  there should not be a problem getting it. You can print off a copy of the application and indicate that it is for genealogical research.

https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residents/births-deaths-marriages =and divorces

It is pricey $25.00 for basic and $50.00 for long copy, which should or might have parents names. They always seem to be backed up so it might take some time before you receive it.

Good luck

Lilybell, it's worse than that. From the Saskatchewan Vital Stats website:

Quote
Genealogical Copy ($50.00) contains all of the information that appears on the original marriage registration and is stamped "FOR GENEALOGY ONLY".

That also applies to birth and death registrations too.

I have the marriage certificate for my grandmother who married in the early 1920's and her parents names are on the certificate. As far as I know the prices I quoted are still in effect. I sent for my grandfathers first marriage cert a year ago and I paid the price I mentioned.

When I started out doing family research several years ago I was able to get some records for free from RM offices. But Saskatchewan changed all that a few years ago by telling all RM's they had to hand their BMD records into Saskatchewan Vital Statistics or be fined. Wonder what happened to those RM's who could not find their records because they got lost or destroyed over the year's

Has anyone noticed how long its taking  to get marriages put on in Saskatchewan? Vital statistics are not without errors. We could not find a family relative  because his wife spelled his surname wrong on the death record, eventually found it.

I wonder  how long they lived in Saskatchewan. They could be mentioned in a history book which I have found to sometimes be a little treasure trove of information.
