Hooe Sussex - Missing siblings - Joseph and James Carey
« on: Thursday 26 January 17 21:42 GMT (UK) »
Hello,

Would anyone have any information on Joseph and James Carey who were born in Hooe, Sussex 1744 and 1747 to Thomas and Elizabeth Carey. Have information for their siblings of Thomas, William ( need confirmation of his marriage and death ) and John .
I have drawn blank on finding out where or when they went - I have the baptisms only.
Any info would be great to add to the generation of the family
Much appreciated

Do you have any proof they survived infancy?

There is a burial on 24.3.1760 for a Joseph Carey at St Oswalds Hooe but no age shown so may be an infant

Hi Carole

The registration I believe for their nephew, the son of their oldest brother Thomas, who married Sarah Wicks. I could be incorrect. He was only a couple of weeks old.

They seem a great mystery
