I was at the library doing some research and came across this baptism so thought I'd pass it on to you (not that it's likely to help much):

Place: St Mary's Church Speen
Date: 24th June 1804
Child: Maria
Parents: Thomas & Sarah Poke

I popped Maria Poke/Pope into all the usual sites and drew a blank.

Speen appears to be one of the West Berks blackholes for online resources. Hopefully Berks FHS will plug the gap soon*
