Sevenoaks Kent, England - Look up

Can anyone tell me if the original document recording William Carey and Mary Booker marriage includes any more information that their names and date 7 December 1767

Any information about Sevenoaks in Kent would be helpful as William was born in Hooe, and Mary in Buxted Sussex, so any reason why they married in Kent

All you will see on the marriage entry is names of witnesses.
Are you sure you have the right couple ?

I hope I have, I was told that there wasn't any marriages for William Carey in Sussex for the appropriate period and that he could have married out of the county. After their marriage they resided and had their 7 children in Buxted as per the registrations.

I think Sevenoaks images are available online at Family History Centres so I can have a look on Saturday.

How close was the baptism of the 1st child to the date of the marriage...?

Also can you see any children to the Sevenoaks couple that might rule them out ?

Can do - I don't remember Sevenoaks being a ridiculously busy parish

I believe their first born was Sarah in 1769 and died 1774, then Mary in 1771, William and another Mary in 1774, then John, Thomas, James in 1781 ( my line)  , then I think they moved to Catsfield and had another daughter Lucy in 1783 .

Unfortunately,  due to an IT stuff-up, they've managed to configure it so that no-one can access familysearch from the FHC.
