We are looking for information concerning Charles Abbot Delmar and his wife Frances Newport.  Their son, Charles Athole Delmar was born at Bridge of Tilt, Blair Atholl, Perthshire 26th January 1853. Other children include Emily b 25 Oct 1850, Deal; William Francis b 11 Feb 1852, Maidstone; and Louisa Alice b 27 Oct 1854, Caernarvon. (Adeline, Welshpool, 1865?)

Date of marriage?  What were the couple doing in Scotland?

Many thanks for the all this information.  It seems quite likely that the whole family were heading for Fort George near Inverness and staying at the Bridge of Tilt Inn when his wife went into labour.
