Help please Margaret Wilson nee ?
« on: Monday 06 February 17 12:18 GMT (UK) »
Hi I have census records showing that a family has the mother and first child born on the Isle of Man.
Father James Wilson from Westmorland, mother Margaret born Isle of Man eldest son Edward born Isle of Man.
I am hoping they married on the Isle of Man too. She was born c1800. I am trying to find her maiden name and birth and marriage records.
Thanks

Isle of Man records nearly always name the women by her maiden name, on christenings, and even on deaths!

Very useful! ;D
