Hi there,

I have a John Swinnerton born abt  1760 Stoke , Staffordshire.
John married a  Ann Miles in June 1785 Barlaston.
I wonder if anyone can see the parents of this John anywhere.

The marriage record says he's from the parish of Eccleshall.
Hopefully that helps a little.

FreeReg has the baptism of a John Swinnerton on 20 Feb 1764 at St. Mary & All Saints, Whitmore, Staffs to a James & Ann Swinnerton.  I believe Whitmore is in the locality of Eccleshall.
