Trying to trace the parents of David Blyth born about 1724 in Abbotshall he married Elizabeth Ramsey

How do you know he was born in Abbotshall?

When/where did they marry?

Were they both of the parish they married in?

Who were the witnesses (could give clues)?

When/where did he die?

What was his occupation?

What were the names of children from eldest to youngest as the scottish naming pattern may have been used which can help?

they married in Abbotshall 27th October 1754.
and I  could not find any births around Abbotshall

FamilySearch has some births of children to this couple
Isabel 1759 in Markinch
Margaret 1761 in Markinch
Thomas 1764 in Balingry
Alison  1767 in Abbotshall

Unfortunately if they were married in 1754 there were probably some prior children so these names don't help with David's parents' names.

Found a David Blythe of around the correct age, born however in Edinburgh area, not too far distant, to a Thomas Blythe b.1783, and wife Helen Scott b. 1796 - any use?

Don't forget that generally couples got married in the bride's parish, so the fact that David married in Abbotshall doesn't mean he was born there.
