I see there may be the possibility someone maybe able to help me with a marriage look up for this district, below are the details I have found so far.

Hi I can see them in 1911, these children were the product of this marriage prior to 1912:-

Mary Bridget Fox June qtr 1908
Elizabeth Josephine Fox December qtr 1909
And after census 1911 an Ellen Kathleen Fox December qtr 1911
All born Kingston Registration District mmn Drennan or Drennen, not with parents 1911.

Many thanks for the extra details as they match up with the children noted in the 19911 census for John & Ellen FOX. Still hope that the marriage entry will give more info though, fingers crossed some one will be able to help, if not its an order to the GRO.

For a look up in parish registers we would need to know the church.

That's a problem other than getting the GRO cert all I have to go on for the 3rd qtr 1908 marriage is the GRO ref for Kingston. A daughter Mary Bridget FOX was born in the 3rd qtr of 1908 supposedly at Marylebone and registered again in the Kingston registration district. Still again many thanks for your help. The birth has to be registered in the district they were born.  Presumably it is the later census that is showing birth place of Marylebone.

Hi the only Mary Bridget Fox c 1908 and not in Kingston I can locate was registered Dec qtr 1909 St Marylebone v1A page 460 no Mothers maiden name, looks to be in Brentford in 1911?

Thank you for that as its seems to confirm that the Mary Bridget FOX (Foster Child 16 months old) who I had a query over in the 1911 census was not the Mary Bridget FOX born 1908. Yes I know it should have been obvious from the child's age 16 months but Enumerators were not totally error free. That means I still have the two children to find in the 1911 census and also the parents marriage. GRO records look the way to go then. So many thanks for your help, Terry
