Hi,
While waiting for the will I found out that Elizabeth Bradley's nephew was the 1st Lord Bradley of Winsford.
Got the will and initially Nellie Temple was to get a 300 pound lump sum and Alice Tomkin was to get 130 pounds annually for life. This was September 1913.By March the following year,Nellie's sum was revoked and Alice's reduced to 26 pounds a year. Both are no longer in her employ at this point.
Something at obviously happened in this short period??
It doesn't really help confirm anything and I'll probably have to wait for the 1921 or 1931 census to prove anything.A lot does point to this being the correct one.Age and occupation are the same and the mystery of her possibly being Ellen Tomkin might also explain the lack of father on the marriage cert.
Thanks all for your help.I'll have to keep digging!
