Wesley Church, Peelhouse Lane, Widnes.
« on: Tuesday 14 February 17 15:34 GMT (UK) »
I went to a school in the late 50's.  I am told that Fairfield Secondary Modern rented a hall and rooms in the Wesley Methodist Church at the bottom of Peelhouse lane ( now known as Trinity).   I can remember one teacher by the name of Walter Liddle or Diggle,  Later I moved up to Fairfield Secondary modern as it was then.

Does anyone remember the arrangement or indeed the teacher?

Have you considered joining one of the Widnes facebook groups, that appear to have lively discussions on Widnes and its recent past?
